XBMC on Raspberry Pi : adding BBC iPlayer

Can be installed by adding a repository via the XBMC GUI, but here’s the commands to do it from a the shell.

Find details of latest version at https://code.google.com/p/xbmc-iplayerv2/

Download and unzip.

XBMC on Raspberry Pi : Infra-red remote control

Bought a “Mini Wireless PC USB Computer remote Control controller” on eBay for use with XBMC (XBian 1.0Beta1.1) on Raspberry Pi.  £3 including postage.  Consists of an infra-red receiver which plugs in via USB and the infra-red remote control itself.  Just works, no drives or setup required.

Shows up within Linux as an Xenta device.
